Helicopter Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Popular California Beach
A chopper hovering near a well-attended southern California shoreline abruptly started spinning wildly, ultimately losing altitude and smashing into a line of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Footage uploaded on social media show the chopper commencing to spiral over the beach then falling near the edge of the coast, where it gets stuck amidst palm trees and a steps close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
Local firefighters said five individuals were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “rescued from the debris” after the accident on that day.
Three persons on the road were injured. Information on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
